An estimated 60 million Americans suffer from allergies, making allergies one of the most common medical disorders. This trend continues throughout much of the rest of the world, making allergies the largest reason for absence from school and sick days and loss of productivity at work.
What are allergies? An allergy is an immune reaction due to foreign microorganisms like dust or pollen in your body. Your body produces antibodies that bind to these foreign molecules, or antigens. This reaction between antibody and antigen sets off a series of reactions designed to protect your body from infection. Sometimes, this same series of reactions is triggered by harmless, everyday substances, which is known as an allergy. The antigen is the foreign substances that sets off the allergic reaction within your body.
There are many different prescription allergy medications available online today. We will list the most common ones here and you can choose which one will best help relieve your allergies.
